  this was a post in the "friends" section but i think it's important and a really good idea.. but it's gonna get washed away by other topics... .

  how about every lurker on here and all others spreading the news that unhappy jw's worldwide are to do a general boycott of all jw related activities (meetings, fs, etc) in for the entire month of february 2006. would be interesting to see what happens to the us average publishers for that month... come on just be irregular for one month!.

  i thought it was such a good idea when i read it this morning... and it's so easy to participate in, since it's PASSIVE participating... they don't have to DO anything, they just have to NOT DO stuff...

  i think that it can get wings because it's just for a month... it's very non-committing... i really hope to hear about the february slump, but here's a little problem: in canada they will attribute it to the whether, so we'll have to make sure to arrange another one in the spring or early summer months

  did you hate them as much as i did?

  i always tried so hard in school to make sure that no one saw it.

  it tries so hard to be unobtrusive on the front, but how embarassing in high school if people think you have some kind of "lost child" card on you.

  just wrapped my first christmas gift...

  the only thing that sucked about it was the fact that i had no idea how to wrap a gift... late 20's and i've never wrapped a present before????

  one tip - be very careful about cutting loads of sellotape and sticking it to the edge of the table - I did that last night and this evening he started using it and lo and behold it stripped he varnish off the table

  thanks for the tip crumpet... but i did it on my bedroom floor, so my mother wouldn't catch me wrapping christmas a gift

  to me it's kind of like when someone is dating or married to a complete idiot and can't see how stupid they are. JW's wear rose-coloured glasses, so they can't see the faults of their religion. as soon as the glasses come off, it's a revelation. an awakening. the healing can begin!

  Rev.16:14 Jesus will battle with the kings of the earth @ Armaggedon. How can a spirit man battle?

  how did angels kill firstborn sons? how does God do anything if a spirit can't affect the physical world?

  He's called son of man...not of God

  jesus was called the son of God many times in the NT... there's like 100 examples of that in the book of john alone

  p.s. im not saying jesus isn't coming back as flesh and blood... the bible says he was raised as flesh and blood and ascended as flesh and blood. i just think a couple of your arguments are a little weak...

  my wife and son went to the ts/sm the other night where divine education was discussed; at the end, brother po said: .
